Situated just 15min South East of Pretoria in the picturesque suburb of Irene, is the Irene Country Club - a wonderfully maintained and manicured estate fit for the English countryside. Clean, clear air permeates the surroundings and added to the lush perennial greens of the trees, fairways and greens you would be forgiven for thinking you are a lot further away from the hustle and bustle of the city than you actually are.

Phil Jacobs Design have been entrusted with keeping the recent changes to the golf course up to date with modern golfing standards yet to maintain its traditional charm too – important for a club with over a centuries worth of history.

The course itself is said to be one of the most attractive imaginable and a true golfing test for enthusiasts. Visitors will be please to know that play here is open to the public. However, it is highly recommended that you book your hotel or accommodation in Centurion and your tee-off times ahead to avoid disappointment.
