4 Corners Restaurant can be found on a sprawling estate, only a few minutes from the frenetic pace of the city. A popular escape from the buzz of city life, 4 Corners offers a rustic, homely space – with a menu bursting with comfort food and rib-sticking delights.

An olde world style pub overlooks the estate, and makes for the perfect winter-warming drink spot, before dinner. The dining area is decorated rustically, matching its country-style surrounds. Start off with classic starters, such as the Grilled Calamari; Mussels Marinara or a crisp salad, such as the decadent Caesar salad. The pasta menu impresses us, with dishes such as the delectable Agnolotti, Panzerotti (butternut ricotta, feta and spinach) and the Frutti Di Mare, with prawns, crab, mussels and calamari.

Pizzas range from traditional to ultra delicious, with toppings such as chourico - through to mussels and crab. For those wanting to sink their teeth into something a little more succulent, the fillet, rump steak and sirloin are sure to satisfy any meat craving. House specialities harken back to another time, and ‘vintage' dishes, such as lamb shank and veal, are given 4 Corners vooma.

The Flleto Gambary comprises of a fillet steak, served with prawns and Jack Daniels creamy sauce. Escalopes of veal are cooked in marsala wine, and served on pasta, while tastes head further east in the Gingha Curry dish – where prawns are cooked in coconut milk and sprinkled with cashew nuts. 4 Corners take their dessert menu seriously, with sweet deliights such as Granadilla Cheesecake, Banoffee Pie and Crème Brulee on offer.

We can't think of a better winter destination than 4 Corners, with its vintage feel, country setting, olde world pub and scrumptious menu.
