De Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge is a highly recommended Gauteng game lodge providing a wildlife experience for discerning anyone visiting Northern Gauteng.
What to expect at the lodge/reserve
Situated on prime land in the Dinokeng free roaming Big 5 game reserve, de Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge borders the Pienaars River on the one side and the tar road to Rust de Winter dam on the other.
What makes De Kleine Serengeti so special is a lovely dam with hundreds of ducks and beyond that a grass plain where game can be seen for most of the day without leaving the comfort of the lodge. From here you can view eland, buffalo, kudu, ostrich, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and many more game and birds species.
The Lodge offers 10 self catering chalets. Each chalet comprises a well-equipped kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom. All chalets have undercover patios with a built-in braai.
The chalets also feature seating areas with TV's and selected DStv channels. The bedroom is equipped with a queen bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. All units are air-conditioned.
There is also a family house with five rooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a wonderful view towards the dam and its own private patio with braai/barbeque.
Game drives are available for those in search of the more elusive animals such as leopard, lion and cheetah. Self-drive is also available. This is a wildlife bush experience on your doorstep.
De Kleine Serengeti Game Lodge together with other game farms are part of the larger Dinokeng Game Reserve. The reserve has a wide variety of bird life, the big 5 and other animals. The area is malaria free.
