About Zwavelpoort Guesthouse

Zwavelpoort Guesthouse is located in Zwavelpoort, possibly one of the nicest areas in Pretoria East and is also one of the most picturesque with the Bronberg Mountain range being a spectacular sight.

For the shopaholics, we are near to the Menlyn Shopping Mall as well as the Grove. This magnificent spot is popular for its horses and offers a number of stabling facilities and plenty of dirt roads for horse rides.

Self Catering Accommodation

Zwavelpoort Guesthouse in Pretoria has two bedrooms each furnished with a double bed and both have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. These two rooms have access to the fully equipped kitchen.

There are also two rooms furnished with Queen-size beds and they have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. These rooms do not have access to the kitchen.

All the rooms have access to the the lounge area which offers a TV with DStv. There is a fireplace which is ideal for those chilly evenings and a large braai outside in the lovely private garden. There is an alarm system in place for peace of mind and there is parking onsite.

Very neat and cozy place, bit cold for winter stay-over, but the owner was prepared with a heater and electric blankets. However, the power went out early in the morning which left us cold, without water (as the water supply was dependent on power to a pressure pump) and no back-up plan. We eventually left without a shower and cold.

A beautiful establishment. Very well kept. Extremely spacious house with all outdoor amenities you want. Confusing arrival as we didn't know where to go and found noone. Once that was sorted , it was lovely snd comfortable. Good location for the area. Relatively close to a shopping centre with everything you'd like.
