About Seaview Lion Park
Largest of the cat family, the Lion, has forever captured the attention of young and old alike. Their majestic presence and title of "king of the jungle", is contrasted by their cute-and-cuddly appearance.
Did you know? For ethical reasons we no longer breed our lions and tigers and we do not have any animals for public interaction.
As you drive through the Seaview Lion Park in Port Elizabeth with an amazing 360 degree view of the Indian Ocean you will see the free roaming Giraffe, Zebras and various large and small buck. You will be able to stop and read the notice boards giving some facts of animals to look out for.
On reaching the area of Lions and Tigers you will park the car and walk around their large camps. The lions and tigers here are very beautiful. We have both White and Tawny Lions and Siberian Tigers, (the largest of the tiger species). We also have Ziggy, a rare Golden Bengal and in the same enclosure Ice, a White Bengal tiger. You will then drive to the next car park and it is here we have we have the restaurant serving light meals a curio shop.
We also have a Sanctuary area where you should sight Shadow, the black leopard and Shiloh, a normal coloured leopard. In this area you will see the popular meercats and other animals.
