Dwarskersbos, Cape West Coast
Dwarskersbos is perched on the magnificent West Coast of the Western Cape Province of South Africa, where the icy turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean lap mile after untouched mile of shells and sand. This entire region is known for the fishing villages that have dotted the coastline for generations, establishing their own unique culture that is such an integral part of the South African identity today.

Leaving Cape Town, You will reach Dwarskersbos after driving for approximately two hours along the scenic R27, also know as the West Coast Road. The gorgeous beaches of Dwarskersbos are this small town's major attractions, both for South African and international tourists. It is along this coastline that many Southern Right whales pass between the months of June and September, enthralling spectators with their inquisitive ways and acrobatic antics.

These are just a few select reasons that, while secluded and quiet, Dwarskersbos continues to attract a host of visitors all year round.
