There's not too much to do in Bedford, so it's perfect for people just wanting to relax. It's a pretty little (very little) town and the folk are friendly.

hi,reading your info i notice that you mention that my mother, Heather Leppan used to live in Bedford?? That info is incorrect , as she lived & grew heritage roses in Somerset East! I have established the Heatherby heritage rose sanctuary in Somerset East in her honour...well worth a visit!
