We stayed at the lovely Grootnek farm and had a blast! This is a great little place to spend a " getawy from it all" with much to do in the area when you get tired of chilling and doing nothing :). AND its a lot less expensive than the big towns.

I've always had such a soft spot for Joubertina. I remember going there as a child and always having such a fantastic time feeding goats and playing on the farm. I love the surrunding mountains - they're so peaceful. Summers are hot and dry, and the farmers give this town such a homely, welcoming atmosphere.
