I reside in Zeekoevlei (near the Rondevlei Bird Sanctuary). I've had the pleasure of working in Mitchell's Plain as a therapist for four years. I was searching for someone to provide outdoor activities with a group of young men rehabilitating from narcotics. This is when I was referred to Selwyn by the City of Cape Town Nature Conservation Office. I was introduced to the vast and spectacular coastal and dune ecosystems along the boarder of Mitchell's Plain and Macassar. Unspoilt. Truly amazing - and so few are aware of it. Selwyn and his non profit organisation; Cape Flats TEDA host guided environmental hikes to visitors. Contact him for a booking or for some pics. You won't be disappointed. The area is accessed via Baden Powell Drive.
