My family and I have visited this magnificent coastal town every year, for the past 3 years and nothing ever gets old. The sandy, white beaches are lovely to walk across in the early morning and the sea breeze is something so calming. The fact that it's such a small town, makes it even better, so it's always peaceful and quiet. The restaurants there are very nice to eat at, especially Aviators. The Ice-Cream at the Caltex is to die for and the people are oh so friendly. A person really does feel welcomed or accustomed to this small town, as soon as you get there. :)

We have visited Struisbaai many times to catch up with friends living in this small fishing village. The white sand beaches are beautiful for swimming and taking a leisurely stroll. We enjoy visiting Parrie the Stingray at the harbour and picking up freshly caught linefish to braai. Its also a five minute drive to L'Agulhas to see the Lighthouse and the Southern most tip of Africa. We always make sure we have a calamari lunch at L'Agulhas Seafoods before we leave.
