About the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival
The Johannesburg International Mozart Festival 2025 promises to captivate classical music enthusiasts with an exquisite series of performances. Hosted at the sophisticated Villa Arcadia on Hollard Campus in Parktown, the event celebrates the enduring brilliance of Mozart while showcasing the broader artistry of classical music.
As part of this year’s program, the Mzansi Chamber Music Collective marks the launch of their 2025 Concert Season with an extraordinary collaboration. Attendees can look forward to enthralling performances by the distinguished American pianist Gustavo Romero, the talented Italian duo Spina & Benignetti, and the renowned German pianist Florian Uhlig, who will share the stage with South Africa’s own acclaimed violinist, Samson Diamond.
This annual festival not only honors the legacy of one of Western classical music's most influential composers but also plays a pivotal role in fostering musical appreciation and education. It stands as a testament to the commitment to enriching South Africa’s cultural landscape through the power of music.
