A fun day at the Beach - Sand and skim boarding

9:00 am pick up from you place of residence in Port Elizabeth and transfer in the tour vehicle to the beach. We drive along the spectacular wildside coastal route before stopping to pick up our equipment en route to the beach.

Arriving at the vast expanse of sand dunes on the warm Indian Ocean shoreline, we unpack and go through a safety briefing while the equipment is being unloaded and the gazebo is set up.

After the initial briefing, we literally head for the hills in the form of the gigantic sand dune and start with the exhilarating downhill rides.

We do a number of rides of varying lengths and speeds before meeting for a refreshing drink, a delicious cinnamon and sugar smothered pancake, drizzled in tangy lemon juice and a bag of freshly made popcorn.

After catching your breath, we head for the river bank where we practice skim boarding across the shallows before progressing onto the shoreline where we start skimming in the shallow water.

After tiring ourselves out for a second time, thoroughly wet and exhilarated, we head back to the car park, dry off before jumping into the tour vehicle for the return trip to Port Elizabeth at around 13h00 and the end of an exciting day on this golden beach.
