A journey through the arts and antiques of Port Elizabeth

Meander through the different arts and antique centers and cultural hubs through the historical suburb of Port Elizabeth, galleries, Arts and Antique shops, meet artists and people that make up this vibrant community.

9:00 am pick up at place of residence and depart for the historical suburb of “Central” Port Elizabeth.

Visit the King George VI Art Gallery and the Nelson Mandela Art Museum near the historical St Georges Park cricket ground.

Take in the historical buildings in this old part of town as well as the EPSAC.

We visit displays of African arts and crafts in and around the city before a break to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.

We continue to a suburb in which one finds many of the Gothic Cathedrals and churches built by the competing denominations many years ago. If possible, we meet with some of the local artistic talent to view their works.
