All wildlife photographers: This tour is highly recommended! Great photo opportunities and accommodation. Madikwe Game Reserve is a Big 5 reserve, with a large number of game and birds. The accommodation was great with a view on an open plain and continuous animal movement, visiting the waterhole. Albert has got many years of experience both as field and photographic guide. This combined knowledge make it ideal for photographers to join his trips.

Albert was fantastic! He knows his stuff, both about wildlife and the history of the areas you visit. Apex Tours & Safaris really takes care of their guests and will go out of their way to ensure guests have a great experience. They really do their research and find the best sites for guests based on their interests. Vehicles are in great condition and kept clean, and drivers are friendly and great hosts.

It was a wonderful experience traveling with Albert Roos as our guide on an amazing trip to S. Africa's Kruger Park in September, 2015. Albert handled all details, from transport, to food, to lodging, expertly so that our group of ten could enjoy seeing the beautiful animals, landscape and birds. I especially appreciated Albert's knowledgeable commentary on the animals, birds and plants. We enjoyed great food and had many laughs along the way. As the only vegan traveler with this group, I felt that Albert did everything possible to accommodate me. I hope to travel again one day with Apex Tours & Safaris and would recommend Albert without hesitation to anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty of South Africa.

I live in Washington DC and never imagined going on an African Safari! However, a South African friend here in the US invited me to join him and his friends. I ended up going on an amazing adventure led by Albert Roos of Apex Tours & Safaris. Albert is kind, funny, and very knowledgeable about the wildlife in the Kruger Game Park as well as the fascinating history of the country. He kept us organized throughout the day and made sure we were comfortably settled into our bungalows each night. We were a group of Americans, most whom had never met before. He managed all of our different personalities brilliantly. It was the trip of a life time! I cannot recommend Albert Roos highly enough!
