Enjoy a day in this beautiful fertile valley where many of the French Huguenots who became “Free Burghers” left the Cape to flee from the restraints of the Dutch East India Company, travelled east and found this valley and settled. This valley is the main fruit and vegetable supply for Port Elizabeth. View the amazing Table Mountain Sandstone formations in the start of the Baviaanskloof Pass. Visit Sarah Baartman's grave and listen to the history of this area as well as the story of this San woman and her suffering at the hands of the Europeans. Area abound in beautiful geographical formations. Visit the beautiful Kouga Dam which feeds this fertile valley.
