Details

Only 30 minutes out of city centre and you can meet your horse for a serene easy trot along the shoreline of the Indian Ocean with some adrenalin-induced gallops; enjoy the cool wind on your face and the exhilarating sea air filling your lungs. This is a two to three-hour bush and beach ride. Almost half of the distance comprises an open stretch of pristine beach that is best enjoyed at a gallop, allowing the horse to share the exhilaration it experiences when allowed to run free. The views are spectacular and the horses are well-trained, friendly and obedient. Between July and December, whales are often seen breaching in the warm ocean waters and there is magnificent birdlife all around, and many species can be spotted along the way..
