Cape Peninsula Nature & Game Reserves

The Table Mountain National Park extends from Signal Hill in the North of the Cape Peninsula all the way to Cape Point in the South. The park boasts global recognition for its rich, varied and utterly unique fauna and flora. This is the only place on the planet where, essentially within a metropolitan area, one finds such a heady mix of rich bio-diversity and incredible beauty.

A number of smaller conservation areas exist within the Cape Peninsula, which are equally worth visiting for the nature-loving tourist. Vleis, lakes, dunes and dams support a growing collection of birdlife, largely due to the conservation of the False Bay Ecology Park.
