Having originally been crafted by local community members with nothing more than a few donkeys to assist, the Ceres Golf Course offers something a little different from the average golfing estate in South Africa. However, thanks to Danie Obermeyer's design, this course is now a picturesque and fun one for golfers of various abilities.

Obermeyer included rock features and water features to create a really pleasant setting in which to test your skills, while good drainage ensures the best green and fairway conditions. Golf carts and caddies are available to players to make their game more relaxing and enjoyable.

The Ceres Golf Estate is situated in the breath-taking Breede River Valley, which is a mere 90-minute drive from Cape Town (the capital city of the Western Cape Province). This estate is focussed on the responsible environmental management of their beautiful property.
