Set in the heart of the Eastern Cape the East London Golf Course is one steeped in South African golfing history, has pedigree and is regarded by most as a must-play.

A traditional course at its very heart, the course borrows elements from both Parklands and Links formats and has combined them skilfully into the championship course that exists today. Selected to host six South African Opens and being a regular host to National and Regional Champs confirms the regard with which the club is held.

The coastal course that offers up breath-taking views of the Indian Ocean and notably, Nahoon Reef, a world famous surf break is also subject to the prevailing winds which add to the challenge. The course also brims with wildlife and is home to a family of Impala, the Knysna Loerie as well as a variety of other birdlife ensuring an excellent all round experience.

The club warmly invites you to come and play and capture some of the magic for yourself, but book your accommodation in East London and your tee-off times well ahead to avoid disappointment. The signature par four ninth, one of the countries premiere holes, takes you on a journey from an elevated tee over the fairways into an indigenous bush-framed valley, is sure to have you reminiscing for years to come.
