The Magalies Park Golf Course enjoys a tranquil setting on the edge of the Hartbeespoort Dam in South Africa's North West Province. Long crisp green fairways melt into the surrounding hills and slip into the water's edge with the grace of a ballerina.

The panoramic vistas of the Magaliesberg Mountains are nothing short of exquisite throughout the day, especially dusk and dawn.

The championship 18-hole course was designed by Loutijie van Aswegen and measures in at just over 6000m. Three different tee options have been made available to cater to a host of golfing abilities and players will find the course as enjoyable as its surroundings.

Strategically placed low lying trees have taken the place of traditional bunkers here at Magalies Park providing interesting new alternatives to the game and as ever, water comes in play on a number of occasions. Don't let the tranquillity fool you however, this course will test you yet, especially on the 8th and 12th holes.

Visitors will be please to know that play here is open to the public. However, it is highly recommended that you book your hotel or accommodation in Hartbeespoort and your tee-off times ahead to avoid disappointment.
