About Pretoria Country Club
Located in the heart of Waterkloof, one of Pretoria's most picturesque and prominent suburbs, the Pretoria Country Club golf course tracks it's illustrious history back well over 100 years to 1909 when the seeds of the club that stands today, were being sown by Mr Julius Jeppe. 1910 saw the official opening and the rest, as they say, is history.
2004 / 05 saw a major redesign and upgrade to the course facilitated by the Gary Player Group and today the course is consistently rated among the top 50 golf courses in South Africa. A remarkable achievement.
The Pretoria Country Club course itself is a wonderful parkland 18 hole course, not overly long at 6459m for the men's tee's, and offers a gentle walk through the scenic holes. The golf on offer tries to cater to all levels of player and while not exceptionally difficult, not a pushover either.
The country club has a host other facilities available too and is generally known as Pretoria's quality sports and social venue. Book your accommodation in Pretoria and your tee-off time well ahead to avoid disappointment. Visitors are gladly welcomed.
