About Rondebosch Golf Club
Centrally located in one of the most sought after suburbs in Cape Town, Rondebosch, is the Rondebosch Golf Club. The mighty metropolitan course offers golfers stunning views of Devil's Peak, Table Mountain and an all-important break away from everyday concerns.
The tall pines, white bunkers and water hazards, that line the lush fairways and pristine greens are teeming with wildlife and provide an excellent setting just ten minutes from the city centre.
The 18 hole, Par 72 Parklands style, course is a return to the original concept of the game and being established in 1911 the club has enjoyed over a century's worth of tantalizing golfing history and has hosted, amongst others; 7 Sunshine tour events, 2 European Pro Ladies Tours and The South African ladies amateur open.
Rondebosch has built a reputation for being equally challenging for both high and low handicapped players. Holes that provide the greatest challenges and rewards are the 4th, 14th, 16th and the 17th where you'll need to pay careful attention to your 2nd shot that needs to keep right and carry the river.
Visitors are welcome every day other than Wednesday and Saturday afternoons and booking is essential. No official handicap is required either. Please book your accommodation in Rondebosch and your tee-off ahead to avoid disappointment.
Facilities at Rondebosch include secure parking; catering; warm-up range; practice bunker; locker rooms; clubhouse; halfway house; boardroom; lobby; lounge and restaurant.
