Undoubtedly one of the true jewels of the South African golfing scene, the Sabie River Golf Course located in the lush green countryside of Hazyview is just one of four full eighteen holes courses in Mpumalanga yet has ranked among South Africa's top ten golfing course regularly.

Water is a huge factor here on the Sabie Course, it comes into play on all but four of the holes and memories of river crossings, dams are sure to stand out after your game. Perhaps more striking than the actual threat of water is what it is home to, and with Sabie River Golf Course in such close proximity to the Sabie Sands Reserve and the Kruger National Park, you probably won't be surprised to hear that a few dozen hippo's and crocodiles have taken up permanent residence.

The course itself is relatively short and weighs in at just less than 6000m. The grounds are excellently looked after and the modern irrigation system ensures that the fairways stay green and well knitted year-round. Book your accommodation in Hazyview and your tee-off times well ahead, to avoid disappointment.

Originally designed as a nine hole course 60 years ago, the course underwent reconstruction by the Golf Data team in 1992 and has been a national favourite ever since. Facilities include a bar, board room, function facilities, halfway house, pro shop, putting green, restaurant, golf club hire, golf carts and pull trolleys.
