The coastal shrubbery can prove brutal if accuracy is not given priority and, like all coastal courses, the challenge of the wind can be fierce and a real game changer. The course itself, relatively short at 5323m boasts two par 5's, five par three's and the notorious signature par 4 third “white knuckle hole” which has the ability, right from the onset, to make or break your game.

The course is filled with tricks and challenges and in return, yields an extreme sense of reward. Like at the 18th when you drive hard over the tree tops, seemingly out into the ocean and hope that somehow your ball finds the narrow fairway below.

A great course with good facilities, you'll find Scottburgh open for play 7 days a week and ready to welcome your booking. It is however recommended that you book your accommodation in Scottburgh and your tee-off time well ahead, to avoid disappointment.
