About The River Club Golf Course
Situated in the Cape Town suburb of Observatory and alongside the Liesbeek River, The River Club Golf Course invites you to play on their nine hole, par 27, Mashie course which promises to perfect your short game and indeed any other area you are looking to improve. The course is made up of undulating vivid green fairways that give way to majestically smooth putting greens under the stark blues and wispy clouds of the Cape Town skyline.
Complemented by views of Table Mountain and the modern technology incorporated here, The River Club has matured into one of the truly brilliant testing facilities and meeting places of golfers. The club has a monumental two storey, 90 bay driving range facility, and being floodlit, comes fully prepared for evening practise sessions.
The sheltered bays also protect you from the often swift-changing Cape Town weather patterns too. The club also has professional coaches on location that can advise the beginners through to the best. Visitors will be pleased to know that play here is open to the public. However, it is highly recommended that you book your accommodation in Cape Town and your tee-off times ahead to avoid disappointment.
No golf club would be complete without providing ample area for you to exaggerate and elaborate the results of your most recent game in and The River Club has an excellent restaurant and bar area to do just that.
