Situated outside of Gauteng's premier sporting venue, The Wanderers Cricket Stadium, the Wanderers Golf Course is perfectly situated for any golfing and sporting enthusiast. Here you can be sure that the course is always in tip-top condition and that the lush coating of Kikuyu enjoys a rich green colour all year round.

Originally established in 1939 as a ten hole course the Wanderers underwent many changes and revisions in those first years especially with the interruptions of war but has ultimately ended up as one the finest courses in Johannesburg. In fact, Compleat Golfer recently rated its 19th hole, which enjoys a sweeping view over the entire course, as one the best in the country.

The course is 6274m long and rated a par-72. The many events hosted by The Wanderers pay tribute to quality of the grounds here and in turn to the management who oversee it.

So come along and enjoy a round here, visitors are welcome, there are spectacular facilities, multiple tee options, and of course, a cricket stadium next door should you wish to pop on over. It is highly recommended that you book your hotel or accommodation in Sandton and your tee-off times ahead to avoid disappointment.
