About Adrenalin Addo

The Eastern Cape has so much to offer in the way of fun and adventure, as Adrenalin Addo proves to perfection. Situated on Happy Lands Farm, Adrenalin Addo takes advantage of the gorgeous landscapes to introduce visitors to the wonderful world of adrenalin tourism when they visit South Africa.

Addo is a small farming community just outside of Port Elizabeth in Nelson Mandela Bay. It is best known for the Addo Elephant Park, which is home to more than 500 African elephants, as well as lions, buffalos, leopards, and a great variety of other plant- and animal species. The exquisite Sundays River winds its way through Addo in peaceful twists and turns, its banks a haven of activity.

Adrenalin Addo offers three different adventures for visitors to the Eastern Cape.

Ziplining - soar over the Sundays River Valley and the stunning citrus orchards from the dizzying heights of the ziplines. Secured safely in a harness, you will glide 70 metres above the ground, sometimes reaching speeds of up to 80 kilometres per hour. The wires are 500 metres long, allowing for a really fun and exhilarating ride. This is the highest, longest and fastest double zipline in the country at present. Anyone between 20 and 120 kilograms can ride.

Giant swing - feel twice the force of gravity as you are pulled 18 metres into the air and then released. Catch your breath as you freefall for a few seconds before the cables tighten and you can swing through the air, feeling the freedom of flying with a stomach-clenching adrenalin rush.

Canoeing - Adrenalin Addo has canoes and equipment available for hire, and there are few better ways to experience the beauty of the province than in a drifting canoe, quietly making its way along the waterway. The river and its banks invite an array of birds, insects and mammals, which always make for exciting sightings.
