About Barnacles Restaurant
Barnacles Restaurant has a prime spot, perched (amidst some coveted homes) atop the first sand dune that overlooks the rugged, unspoilt coast of Seaview in Port Elizabeth.
The deck has been constructed so that it seems to float, without anything hindering the view or marring the atmosphere. This stretch of ocean is known for the whales that make their appearance between August and December and the dolphins that can be seen all year round.
Barnacles serves great red meat and seafood dishes and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cocktails on the deck, particularly at sunset, definitely have to be on the agenda of any holiday-maker visiting Port Elizabeth. The atmosphere is friendly and laid back, but not at the cost of good, attentive service.
