About Yellowwood Forest Farmers Market
Craft markets are always a fabulous way to get to know a destination, since the local arts, crafts and people converge in a setting of fun and relaxation. Morgan’s Bay, nestled along the Wild Coast of South Africa, is home to just such a market at the Yellowwood Forest Campsite, and invites locals and visitors to peruse the many stalls and get to know the sheer variety of this coastal town.
The market is held once a month during the year, but a lot more frequently during peak tourist season. It is set amidst indigenous trees and on the banks of the Inchara River, making it something really special.
Goods on sale include homemade preserves and sweets, biltong, fresh fruit and vegetables, jewellery, art, accessories, honey, and more. The Tree Pot Tea Garden offers delicious meals and snacks, while the gift shop is also open to visitors and has antiques, gifts, and books. The well-stocked bar ensures that shoppers have something delicious to quench their thirst on a hot summer’s day.
