About Vinkel en Koljander Coffee Shop
The charming little Eastern Cape town of Stutterheim, just brimming with history and natural beauty, is the proud home of the Vinkel en Koljander Coffee Shop. This is more than just a coffee shop, though. It incorporates fantastic coffee and tasty breakfasts and lunches with the ladies' boutique and the popular Petal and Things Garden Centre, making Vinkel en Koljander an intriguing spot for travellers to explore.
Situated in Hill Street, Vinkel en Koljander Coffee Shop's menu comprises firm favourites like hearty bacon and eggs, French toast with Maple syrup and crisp bacon, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, caramel fridge tart and delectable coffees. There is also a kiddies' menu for the younger diners with discerning palates. Freshly baked cakes are wonderfully decadent and just the thing for weary travellers that need a bit of a boost along their way, or simply as a treat for friends in need of a catch-up. Keep an eye out for the daily specials.
The ladies' boutique at Vinkel en Koljander Coffee Shop sells beautiful clothing, shoes, bags, jewellery, and other accessories. All of the products are carefully selected and there are a number of proudly South African goodies that make for beautiful gifts (for one's self or for friends back home).
The Petal and Things Garden Centre stocks a range of seedlings, grown plants (including trees, succulents, shrubs and bulbs) and gardening accessories for those that love to spend time in the yard. New stock comes in on a weekly basis, giving gardeners plenty of variety.
The Kologha Forest is only 10 kilometres from the Vinkel en Koljander Coffee Shop. This indigenous forest has three beautiful walks meandering through the trees, as well as a tarred walkway for those with walking difficulties or in wheelchairs. This is a stunning spot in which to breathe the fresh air of the Eastern Cape and immerse one's self in the untainted beauty of the forest - the perfect way to round off your Vinkel en Koljander Coffee Shop experience.
