About Aces Brew Worx

In Market Street, Johannesburg, two brothers have joined forces to create fantastic craft brews. They share a passion for craft beer and want their creations to speak of the simple pleasures of life and friendship. This began with a determination to bring an extraordinary craft lager to the country and has evolved into so much more.

The best combination of good quality ingredients is used to ensure a great aroma, taste and finish. Aces Brew Worx offer the following ice-cold draughts to seasoned beer-drinkers as well as to those who just like to sip on a cold ale from time to time:

Aces Lager
Subtle citrus hints are on the nose, while the flavour is a delightful balance of hops and malt. It is crisp and clean, with a medium-light body and a lingering frothy head.

Kristall Weiss
The aroma of this American-style beer is sweet (thanks to the added honey) and malty with a touch of fruitiness. The taste is similar and finishes on a medium-dry, slightly sweet note. This is an easy-drinking beer for just about anyone.

Bare Naked Blonde
The wheat aroma and thick, lingering head make this ale refreshing, but complex. There are subtle notes of bananas and cloves, and the hop bitterness is low, thanks to the added caramel. This is complemented by the citrus finish.

Irish Red
Expect notes of caramel, toast and toffee with a distinct malt influence. This has a dry finish and is clean and smooth to drink. The gorgeous amber colour is the cherry on top.

India Pale Ale
The tropical fruits, grass, earth and citrus influences of this beer are offset by a prominent bitterness. So, this is best for those that love the hoppy bitterness of a true American-style IPA.

The Aces Brew collection can be found in various liquor stores and restaurants in Gauteng and Cape Town. They can also be enjoyed at many of the local beer festivals.
