Nambitha is the creation and accomplishment of Khulani Vilakazi, who is a respected local entrepreneur. He had the vision of representing the South African and Sowetan cultures; a dream that has resulted in this culinary experience. This family-friendly restaurant serves breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and well-known locals can often be seen enjoying refreshments with friends and family. The menu includes omelettes, burgers, oxtail, sticky ribs, grilled rump, traditional tripe and umngqusho (samp and beans). Nambitha is also known for its excellent prices, appealing to locals and visitors.

The restaurant is situated in Vilakazi Street and is close to the Mandela Family Museum and the Hector Pieterson Memorial.
