About Durban Car Boot Fleamarket
Durban's fleamarkets give locals and visitors plenty to see and do, promising insights into the local culture and heritage and allowing residents and tourists to meet one another in a fun and exciting context. Durban is the capital city of the KwaZulu-Natal Province and is also home to the King Shaka International Airport. It is also known the world over for its gorgeous beaches and idyllic surfing conditions.
The Car Boot Fleamarket is the oldest of its kind in the city of Durban, having been established in 1992. It is situated on the old circus site behind the Greyville Racecourse and offers plenty of free parking for those wanting to peruse the many stalls. It is also kept safe and secure by experienced security personnel. This convenient access and the facilities make the Durban Car Boot Fleamarket a great option for a family day out or a shopping Mecca for the thrifty buyer.
This market is open every Sunday from the early morning until about 13h00. Shoppers can look forward to viewing and buying a range of items. These include bedding, videos and DVDs, CDs, curtains, sportswear, bicycles, tools, carpets, tiles, light fittings, crockery, cutlery, ornaments, books, and a whole lot more.
Such variety that is so readily available at good prices is a rare find. Yet, these are the hallmarks of the Durban Car Boot Fleamarket, right in the heart of Durban.
