About Deerpark Mountain Bike Trail
Getting on your mountain bike and tackling the trail in Deerpark with Table Mountain above you and stunning surrounding views is an awesome experience.
This varied and challenging track with changing terrain makes this an exciting trail that is ideal for riders with any fitness and ability level. In total the trail will cover roughly 19 kilometers and take about an hour and a half to complete.
Beginning at the Deerpark parking lot you will take a circular route towards Devils Peak, up toward the Kings Block House down towards Tafelberg Road taking you past the cable station and onto a dirt track. From here a steep single track will take you towards the dirt road again, along a jeep track and back to the parking lot.
There some great climbs, descents and a combination of gravel, tar and dirt roads along the way. Some sections of the trail can be tricky so take care on route.
