About Elsies Peak Walk
Table Mountain is an international icon, a symbol of the Mother City of Cape Town. Locals love its looming consistency and the many changing views that it provides through the course of any given day. Elsie's Peak Walk is a 2.5 kilometre route that, while steep in places, is easy to master and does not require hikers to be particularly fit. This makes it ideal for families or the inexperienced.
The views in the Table Mountain National Park are stunning, and include breath-taking vistas of Simon's Town, Fish Hoek, False Bay and Glencairn.
These views stretch for miles, especially when the weather is clear and calm. This trail can be accessed from Glencairn Heights or Fish Hoek (park at Kommetjie and use the stairs on the mountain trail across the way).
