13 on Main has three bedrooms furnished with a King-size bed, double bed and two single beds respectively. Two of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The separate third bathroom is fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. On the ground floor is a flat with one bedroom, a bathroom fitted with a shower, lounge area and a well-equipped kitchen. In the storeroom there are also two single bed mattresses that can be utilized. The flat also has braai facilities. The main kitchen is fully equipped for self catering with a walk-in pantry which will bring all the cooks in the family together. A spacious and comfortable lounge area with panoramic sea views is an added bonus to the separate TV room with a smart TV. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The main attraction is the large stoep with views of the ocean and the well-known Meeurots in the bay of Yzerfontein. Braai facilities are on the covered section of the stoep with an 8-seater table and two sun chairs. Parking is available off the street and in the garage.

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
