37 La Mer is a sea, estuary and coastline-facing apartment, situated on the tropical east coast of KwaZulu Natal. La Mer is on a four-kilometre stretch of unspoiled coastline, where the beach is a very short walk away. Plant your feet firmly in the sand before being tempted in by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean. The apartment is just 30 minutes south of Durban in the quiet, unspoiled coastal village of Illovo Beach.

Self Catering Accommodation

37 La Mer is a luxury self catering holiday apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a Queen size bed, a full en-suite bathroom and a large sliding door onto the balcony. The second bedroom has two single beds and the third bedroom has one single bed. These rooms share a bathroom with a shower.

The apartment features a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen boasts washing machine for convenience. The living area has a TV with DStv / satellite channels and Wi-Fi.

Outside there is a balcony with comfy seating, a table and chairs, gas braai facilities and beautiful beach views. This is the ideal place to dine alfresco with a view or sit and sip your morning coffee while looking out to sea.

There is reserved undercover parking for one vehicle, plus ample open parking for visitors.

The complex has direct beach access through a private gate just a mere minutes' walk from the apartment. La Mer is well maintained with lush gardens, an inviting swimming pool and kiddies pool with barbeque facilities and a club house.

The Area

Guests can enjoy fishing, safe swimming in shark-net protected waters, blissful sunbathing and, for the kids, endless sandcastle-building opportunities. The lagoon at the mouth of the Lovu River is a haven for bird-watching and canoeing. The main coastal highway is out of view and earshot, but is 5 minutes' drive away offering easy access to some of South Africa's top game parks, dive sites, nature reserves, golf courses and other coastal attractions.
