76 Waterkant Street is a 4 star graded property offering De Waterkant accommodation for up to 8 guests.
76 Waterkant Street is a popular four bedroom house with a roof terrace offering holiday accommodation in De Waterkant, Cape Town.
Air-conditioned through-out you enter into the massive open plan living, dining and kitchen area; the internal courtyard void has floor to ceiling sliding windows that extend through to bedroom 3.
Here the queen size bedroom backs onto a double shower with sinks either end of an open corridor of white tiles and underfloor heating. The open steel and wood stairs lead you down to a laundry area and bedroom 4. This room can be made up as twin or king and has a free standing bath.
The same staircase, that stretches the full height of the property, opens out onto a second living area with wood burning stove and television area. Either side of this space are the two other bedrooms.
Bedroom 1 is identical to Bedroom 3 in layout and again opens onto the courtyard void with feature brick wall. Bedroom 2 has sliding metal and etched glass doors and windows that look across the village. This room can be made up as a twin or king and has an en-suite shower bathroom.
A massive sliding glass ceiling accesses the large roof terrace with sink counter, Jacuzzi and great 360 degree views of Table Mountain, Signal Hill and the city.
We are not affected by Load Shedding as we are on a hospital power grid.
76 Waterkant Street is cleaned six days a week with a light service on Sundays, with the exception of public holidays. All bed linen and towels are provided and the kitchen is fully fitted. The property has satellite television, DVD, music systems, and a manual wall safe.

What is loadshedding? It refers to the temporary suspension of electricity provided by Eskom, South Africa's electricity provider, to reduce consumption and thereby the load on the national grid. To compensate, South African property owners are turning to solar power, inverters with backup batteries or in some cases generators to keep the power on, wherever feasible.
