The Area
The village was initially established in 1905 on two farms, but has since grown to be a little hamlet in its own right. Still, there are homes in Kestell that date back to the very early 1800's, testifying to a community that pioneered the development of the modern-day residential area. Popular attractions are the Kestell Golf Club, Basutho Cultural Village and Mountain Lions Rock Four Paws Reserve.

Verified review
When we checked in, we had the option to choose our room. The first room was not acceptable, so we selected a different one, which lacked sufficient comforts. However, one of the three mattresses was in decent condition, while the others were worn out. Unfortunately, our stay was not enjoyable. Upon our arrival after a funeral at around 10:00 PM, we discovered there was no power, no electricity, no water and no toilet paper. We do not recommend this place.
