Embark on an adventure across Aardvark's meticulously crafted network of mountain biking trails, spanning the eastern and western expanses of the reserve. Catering to both novice (blue) and seasoned (red) riders, our trails weave through diverse landscapes, including our distinctive "green trails" tracing the paths of indigenous wildlife.
Ranging from leisurely 5-kilometer jaunts to exhilarating 65-kilometer odysseys, these trails are easily accessible via Garmin downloads.
Weather permitting, indulge in a sunset safari through the reserve's eastern reaches, sharing the experience with fellow guests aboard our game vehicles. Encounter an array of majestic creatures, including springbok, eland, kudu, oryx, giraffes, ostriches, blesbuck, and zebras.
For the avid hiker, myriad trails await, spanning from leisurely strolls to challenging treks. Explore the well-marked paths on the eastern expanse, tracing the footsteps of eland, kudu, and springbok through the heart of the wilderness.

Outside there is a large covered veranda, an indoor and outdoor fireplace, and a wood-fired hot tub. The cottage is located near the main gate and adjacent to mountain biking and hiking trails.

There is a large stoep/patio and a fully equipped kitchen. This cottage also has its own bicycle shed and storeroom. It is located on the western section of Aardvark Bioreserve, near the main entrance and our mountain biking and hiking trails. WiFi is available but general phone reception can be intermittent. Your cottage overlooks one of our waterholes and is fenced to keep our hungry Zebras out. You have your own private, wood-fired hot tub!

The cottage also overlooks the Miertjieskraal dam wall, a spectacular site when the dam overflows. The stoep/veranda is spacious and features a private wood-fired hot tub and a romantic lapa/boma for two.

Words simply don't do justice to this special cottage.

Die Opstal is a comfortable and stylish remodeled farm house - the largest of our accommodations. Easily sleeping 8 people, there are four bedrooms furnished with King-size / twin beds. There are three bathrooms. This classic house offers a large kitchen with a pizza oven, two-in door fireplaces, a large patio and hot tub. Die Opstal is on the commercial side of the farm surrounded by fruit trees, sheep and chickens. Die Opstal is located near our mountain biking trails and within walking distance of the Miertjieskraal Dam.
