A Garden Suite is a B&B with self catering option, providing accommodation in Pietermaritzburg for anyone visiting the Natal Midlands region.

About A Garden Suite

Situated in the lush suburb of Athlone in Pietermaritzburg, A Garden Suite is ideally located close to a number of private schools, shopping malls and hospitals. We are ten minutes from the CBD and Hilton and twenty minutes from Midmar Dam and the start of the Midlands Meander.

Accommodation

Our suites are tastefully furnished with lovely cottage pieces and comfy beds, duvets and throws.

The Main Garden Suite:
This is a large suite with a double bedroom (King size or two single beds) and an en-suite bathroom. The suite also has a small lounge and kitchenette equipped with a sink, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and gas hob).

The French Room:
This room can accommodate either two singles or a couple on a King size bed. Although not large it is perfect for a nights stop over. There is a modern en-suite bathroom.

The Garden Snug:
The 'snug' is nestled in the garden, separate from the main house. A small, comfortable room situated on two levels and furnished with two single beds. There in an en-suite bathroom shower. There is also a small kitchenette.

We always try to provide a warm and friendly environment and personalized service for our guests who can relax on the beautiful verandah or lounge at our sparkling 15 meter pool.

Breakfast

We provide a scrumptious continental breakfast, but a cooked breakfast and hearty supper can be arranged at an additional cost.

Services and Facilities

We are happy to accommodate children and have facilities such as a wendy house, swings and jungle gym for them to enjoy. We are disabled friendly with a ramp and stairs as well as grip rails and hand-showers in our bathrooms -we can provide transport to and from hospitals in our area. We are also pet friendly.

Enjoyed my stay, 2 single beds worked out well for us for religious reasons. However they are still big enough for 2 to sleep in one. Very nice stay, even Breakfast was scrumptious
