About Aloe at Wyford Farm

Aloe is a cottage located on a small working farm, in the mountainous area off Van Reenen Pass in KwaZulu Natal. Guests are accommodated in separate and private self catering units, each with their own braai area and garden. The units are serviced daily and pets are accepted on request. The farm is within easy access from the N3.

Self Catering Accommodation

Aloe Cottage can accommodate five guests. There is a loft bedroom furnished with a double bed and a single bed as well as bedroom downstairs which is furnished with two single beds. The rooms make use of a bathroom which is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The cottage has a small kitchenette which is equipped with a two plate mini oven, a microwave, a fridge, kettle and toaster. All cutlery, crockery, pots and pans are provided. The lounge area is comfortably furnished and has a wood burning fireplace for the chilly winter months. Other facilities include electric blankets and wood for the fireplace.

Braai facilities are provided in the spacious garden which has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Guests can enjoy horse riding, walking, bird watching and bicycle routes in the area. Day trips to Northern Drakensberg resorts such as Royal Natal National Park; Giants Castle; Cathedral Peak and Champagne Valley. Sterkfontein Dam, Golden Gate National Park, Basotho Cultural Village, Clarens, Witisieshoek Mountain Resort and the Battlefields of Spionkop, Fugitives' Drift, Rorke's Drift and Isandlwana are also within driving distance.
