About The Anchorage Krantzkloof
The Anchorage Krantzkloof offers accommodation in Kloof on a conservancy that has views of the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The reserve is just four kilometres from the centre of Kloof and offers some awesome views across the forested gorge and most of the reserve's 500 odd hectares are covered by dense indigenous forest, a haven for wildlife.
Accommodation
The Anchorage Krantzkloof has three B&B rooms, Red, White and Gold. Two of the rooms have double beds and the third room has a Queen-size bed. Each room has their own en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and hand basin. Each room has a TV with Netflix and a tea / coffee tray. Outside the rooms are small balconies with a table and chairs.
The Anchorage has FREE Wi-Fi and secure parking. Outside is a large patio with outdoor furniture which overlooks a well manicured garden and a beautiful swimming pool surrounded by rocks.
Gold Room:
This Deluxe double room offers a comfortable double bed and an en-suite bathroom.
Red Room:
Deluxe double room offers a comfortable double bed and an en-suite bathroom.
White Room:
This room offers a comfortable Queen-size bed with an en-suite bathroom and a small sitting area inside.
Breakfast and Dining
A continental breakfast is included in the rates and served every morning. This includes, muesli, fresh fruit, yogurt, fruit juice, pastries, tea and coffee. Dinner can be enjoyed at one of the many nearby restaurants.
Attractions
A wonderful picnic area next to the dam at the head of Kloof Falls is an attractive option for a weekend. From here there are various walks that descend into the gorge, following the course of the Molweni River. Closest landmarks are the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve, Mpiti Waterfall, Stokers Arms, Makaranga Botanical Garden and Springside Nature Reserve.
