About Anchors Rest House
Anchors Rest is a luxury holiday house in Southport situated directly on a "Blue Flag" beach in KwaZulu Natal. This "home-away-from-home" has fantastic amenities to suit a variety of needs.
With stunning Milkwood trees that shade over this surreal getaway, our front garden gate provides direct access to a strip of indigenous vegetation (admiralty) which separates you from a beautiful unspoiled golden beach and an enormous tidal pool.
Self Catering Accommodation
Anchors Rest has four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with Queen-size beds and the third bedroom has two adult size bunk beds. The fourth bedroom is furnished with two single beds.
All four bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom fitted with shower, toilet and basin. The main bathroom also has a bath tub. There is a separate guest toilet with basin. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and wardrobes. Bedding, bath towels and beach towels are supplied.
The house includes an open plan lounge and dining room with a 40" Flat screen TV with Netflix and access to DStv Now. The kitchen offers a fridge freezer, gas stove, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. Starter packs of milk, tea and coffee are provided.
Additional Facilities
Anchors Rest boasts an undercover veranda with outdoor dining and lounge areas and a built in braai which extends to the chlorinated pool.
The property is fully fenced and secure with advanced security systems and security beams.
