About Tsitsikhaya Lodge
Tsitsikhaya Lodge is situated in 2 acres of pristine fynbos surrounded by indigenous forests with the Tsitsikamma Mountain range spreading picturesquely in front.
Accommodation
Accommodation in the Guest Lodge includes en-suite rooms, with their own entrances and patios, and, direct access to the ecological wonderland surrounding the Guest Lodge. Upstairs in the lodge are two large rooms also en-suite, a Guest lounge with DStv and Staff Quarters.
Two separate honeymoon hideaways (or executive stress busting) Cottages are set in total privacy in their own gardens further adding to the accommodation choices for the discerning Guest.
Dining
The cuisine is real South African food with a hint of the Cape Malay influences of the past. 22 couverts on the newly added Fynbos Terrace extended the capacity to 52, meaning the surrounding Guest House occupants can also come to partake in dishes such as good old Lamb Bredie, the ubiquitous Bobotie (in this instance made with healthy lean Ostrich meat!).
Activities and Attractions
Hiking opportunities abound in this beautiful area. Tsitsikamma National Park is right next door, Treetop Canopy Tours and Blackwater Tubing are right in the village. Bicycle hire, horse riding, guided hikes and bird watching are all on offer. Back to the Armagh for a swim in the salt water pool and sundowners before dinner!
