A Seaside Place @ Long Beach is situated idyllically on the famous Kommetjie Long Beach. Enjoy walks on the wide expanses of sandy beaches, with rock pools to play in. The beach is popular with young and old alike. People come from far and wide for the various water sports and families enjoy quality time together, picnicking on the beach under their umbrellas.
Self Catering Accommodation
Suitable for a couple or a small family, the flat has a luxurious queen sized bed plus a comfortable sleeper couch in the lounge to accommodate one or two small children or a third person. Flat screen TV with DStv hotel package programmes.
You would have a kitchen with a large fridge, stove, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots, pans plus all crockery and cutlery. Linen and bath towels are provided. Safe parking is provided.
The kitchen opens out to a magical garden with braai facilities, fynbos and sounds of nature from the abundant bird life. Even an owl can be heard at times! Many enjoyable evenings can be spent here, relaxing with a glass (or two!) of wine, at the end of a busy satisfying day, viewing the Cape's wondrous sights.
Location & Attractions
Kommetjie is a welcoming little village, with endless stretches of wide sandy beaches, including the famous Kommetjie to Noordhoek walk. There are also numerous hiking paths affording magnificent views of the mountains and impossibly blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
Kommetjie is well known for its quality of scented fresh air, and birdlife. Marvel at Flamingo, Egyptian Geese, Sacred Ibis, Hadeda, Crow, Sea Gull, Cormarant, Starling ... in the surf you might even see seals at play. Also, during the months of July to December one can spot whales from our beaches here.

We had a great stay, the location is perfect - a block from the beach - and Kommetjie is lovely! We really enjoyed relaxing on the comfortable verandah furniture and going for walks on the beautiful beach. Thank you also for allowing us to bring our 2 puppies. We'll be back - thanks!
