Ashanti is an enchanting, double-story house with wooden paneling, nestled on the scenic banks of the Breede River. It features expansive gardens both in the front and back, and includes a private jetty. This recently refurbished property offers a perfect backdrop for a memorable holiday getaway.

Self-Catering Accommodation

The interior layout of Ashanti caters to diverse groups of travellers. The ground floor contains a spacious king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom that includes a bath, shower, and toilet.

Upstairs, the first floor houses three more bedrooms: one double room, one single room with an additional pull-out bed, and a family room furnished with a double bed, a single bed, and a bunk bed. These rooms share a bathroom equipped with a bath, shower, and toilet.

All bedrooms are fitted with mosquito nets and block-out curtains, ensuring a comfortable stay during warm summer nights and leisurely mornings.

The newly updated kitchen, utility room, and outdoor braai area are designed to enhance your holiday enjoyment. The kitchen comes with a gas hob, ample cupboard space, and a full set of cutlery and crockery, making meal preparation and baking simple and enjoyable.

The utility room includes a drinks fridge, chest freezer, washing machine, and tumble dryer, addressing all your practical needs. The stoep features a cozy hammock and sofa, perfect for relaxing and taking afternoon naps.

Location & Attractions

Ashanti is located in an area teeming with activities and attractions. Guests can partake in sunbathing, swimming, boating, skiing, tubing, kayaking, fishing, walking, bird watching, mountain biking, and trail biking.

A regular sedan can reach the house, although the last 200 meters downhill are somewhat bumpy and should be driven slowly. The rest of the dirt road is generally in good condition but may develop potholes after heavy rains. It's recommended that guests launch their boat at the Malgas Public Slipway before arriving at the property.
