About Askham Chalets
Askham Chalets offer peace, tranquility and a true Kalahari experience within secluded cottages, where you can enjoy breathtaking sunrises and splendid sunsets, as you stretch out on the soft Kalahari sands.
Askham Self Catering
Askham Chalets consists of separate chalets, The Family Unit, two bed units and three bed units. All bedrooms contain an air-conditioner and a heating panel to keep you comfy no matter what the season.
There is a private braai (with a built-in light) and a fold-open bench / table on the decks of all units from where you can enjoy breathtaking sunrises and splendid sunsets. Braai grids are supplied.
Each chalet has its own carport right next to it so cars do not have to face the Kalahari sun while you are resting in our cool air-conditioned chalets. The premises are secure and fenced in with a 1,8m palisade fence and gates.

On site Facilities
The property has a splash pool at the communal braai area, and there are 3 tables with bunks. The property is surrounded with a devils fork fence of 2 metres for safety and covered parking at each chalet. Pets are allowed, with prior arrangement. No televisions!

Things To Do
Another positive point of our town is that we have no street lights - ideal for stargazing. If this is your hobby, please bring your gear along and come enjoy our beautiful night sky. For the bird-watchers, we've got the ideal space to practice your hobby - bring that gear too, please.

Very warm welcome and wonderful kind hosts. The little chalet was spotless, very confortable and we had everything we needed for our night there. The place is a little oasis in the desert, created with a lot of love and hard work by Banna and Aletta. We recommend it!
