Bald Ibis is ideally located within the Highland Gate Golf & Trout Estate with one of the best views available in the entire estate. Highland Gate is just two and a half hours from Johannesburg, nestled in the picturesque Steenkampsberg mountains near the popular fly-fishing village of Dullstroom.
Self Catering Accommodation
Bald Ibis Holiday Home in Dullstroom sleeps 10 guests in four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
The rooms are all furnished with twin beds. In two of the rooms guests can elect to configure the beds as King-size beds. Two of the en-suite bathrooms have baths and showers and two have showers only. In addition, there is a large study with ample workspace as well as a Queen-size sleeper couch (there is no en-suite bathroom for the study).
The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances including a fridge-freezer, gas stove, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as all cutlery, crockery and cookware. There is a Nespresso coffee machine (guests to supply their own coffee pods).
A large wood-burning fireplace in the living room keeps the house warm on cold Dullstroom nights and firewood is provided.
There is a separate indoor/outdoor braai area, suitable for use in all weather conditions, with a large dining table and a built-in braai. Stacking doors open to the large, well-maintained garden.
The house has a full DStv package, uncapped Wi-Fi and there is an inverter, solar panels and battery backup.

The Highland Gate estate spans 700 hectares and is located only two and a half hours from Johannesburg, nestled in the Steenkampsberg mountain range near Dullstroom. Highland Gate is the perfect weekend retreat for outdoor enthusiasts.
