Basil's Boma is situated 45 minutes drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria at the edge of the Cradle of Humankind Heritage Site, in Skeerpoort on the Witwatersrand Mountain Range overlooking the Magaliesburg Mountains close to Hartbeespoort Dam.

This romantic hide-away is known for morning walks with picnic basket or farmhouse breakfasts on the deck with freshly baked scones, cream and jam. Its private boma area and wooden decks boast breathtaking views of sunsets and the Magalisburg Mountains including hot air balloons and a large variety of birds' indigenous to the area.
The unit comprises an exclusive and unique one bedroom unit with bathroom for two persons sharing. It has a King-size bed, bush kitchen with bar fridge, private Boma area, small thatch bar, Fire place.
Housekeeping by prior arrangement.
Activities and Attractions
Throughout the day one can relax, explore the tourist attractions Hartbeespoort has to offer or enjoy a beauty therapy session or go on a guided tour. Make Basil's Boma your base for a weekend should you be attending a wedding or function.
Arrive Friday afternoon - bring your own braai basket etc and enjoy an unforgettable evening around the fire within your own private boma. Saturday morning enjoy a picnic breakfast (weather permitting), with a view to die for. Saturday afternoon attend your function knowing you are only a few minutes' drive from 'home'.
